Path of Exile 3.28.0g: Asynchronous Trade Warnings, Sirus Rework, and Mirage Cleanup

Exiles! Grinding Gear Games has released patch 3.28.0g for Path of Exile, focusing on bug fixes, quality‑of‑life improvements, and a few notable boss adjustments. The patch touches the Mirage Challenge League (fixing entrance spawns and rare Saresh bugs), reworks Sirus’s behavior outside the Eye of the Storm, lowers the Infinite Hunger’s minimum burrow time, and fixes a surprising number of long‑standing bugs. While there’s no new league mechanic or massive balance overhaul, this patch cleans up several frustrating issues – especially for endgame bossers and Mirage farmers. Let’s break down everything that changed and what it means for your next map.

Path of Exile 3.28.0g brings trade fixes, Mirage league improvements, Sirus rework, Infinite Hunger buff, and numerous bug fixes.

🔧 Path of Exile 3.28.0g – Asynchronous Trade Warnings, Sirus Rework, and Mirage Cleanup

1. Asynchronous Trade – Fixed Warning Bug

IssueFix
The warning “This item’s price differs from the one you initially travelled to this shop for” was not appearing in certain situationsWarning now appears correctly

Our take: This is a small but important fix for console and cross‑platform trading. If you’ve ever had a seller change the price after you traveled to their hideout, the warning should now protect you again.

2. Mirage Challenge League Fixes

The Mirage league has been out for a while, but a few bugs persisted. Patch 3.28.0g addresses them.

BugFix
Mirage Entrances could spawn in boss arenas of Haunted Mansion or Underground Sea mapsNo longer spawn there – clean boss fights
Mirages could spawn things in inaccessible areasFixed – no more unreachable rewards
Saresh could sometimes fail to phase transition, causing him to vanish (rare)Fixed – Saresh now phases correctly
City Square Map bosses were not fightable if only one boss was caught in a MirageFixed – all bosses now fightable

Poe3

Our take: The Haunted Mansion / Underground Sea fix is a blessing for speed runners. Nothing worse than a Mirage Entrance inside a tiny boss room. The Saresh vanish bug was rare but devastating when it happened – good to see it gone.

3. General Improvements – Sirus, Infinite Hunger, and More

ChangeDetails
Sirus (outside Eye of the Storm)Variants in Maps or The Feared fight no longer create walls during projectile barrage; instead, he tracks the player
Infinite HungerMinimum burrow time lowered from 10 seconds to 3 seconds
Map descriptionsClarified that Map items can be used on areas of the item’s tier or lower
Foulgrasp SupportAdded buff icon to display number of active grasping hands
Dead Spectres (as Wisps)Can no longer be hit by enemy projectiles
Curator of Wisdom Armour SetAdded secondary tier with persistent visual effects

Why these matter:

  • Sirus change – The wall spam was annoying and sometimes deadly. Now he tracks you instead, making the fight more dynamic and less cluttered.
  • Infinite Hunger – 10 seconds underground was a joke. Now it’s 3 seconds minimum – a massive buff to fight pace.
  • Foulgrasp buff icon – Long overdue quality of life. Now you can track your grasping hands without guessing.
  • Dead Spectres – Wisps are no longer hit by projectiles, increasing their survivability.

Our take: The Infinite Hunger change alone will make the fight feel 3x faster. Sirus outside the Eye is now less frustrating. Great QoL all around.

4. Bug Fixes – Highlight Reel

BugFix
Memory Tears could spawn in any tier of maps instead of only tier 16 after completing Incarnation bossesNow correctly restricted to tier 16+
Death Zones in Uber Sirus could be taunted by player Warcries, making them more aggressiveFixed – Death Zones no longer react to taunts
Rare bug in Uber Sirus where a Death Zone could be created inside a Meteor MazeFixed – should no longer happen
Divine Blast not interacting with The Monastery Bell Unique Mace correctlyFixed
Reduced Recovery of Leech could also prevent recovery from Flasks and RegenerationFixed – now only affects leech
Kaom’s Binding modifier could be changed by Volatile Vaal Orbs visually but not actuallyModifier now unscalable; cannot be changed
Taunt caused enemies to deal 1% less damage instead of 10% less damageFixed – now correct 10%
Spiders from the Strange Barrel Strongbox could become permanently undamageableFixed
Various Fire/Cold/Lightning Damage Modifiers couldn’t be swapped via Harvest craftsFixed
Voidbane Shield MTX scaling bugFixed
Paladin Weapon Effect on Lich’s Gaze Shield MTX bugFixed
Client crash with The Gull Unique in PvPFixed
2 other client crashes + 1 instance crashFixed

Poe5

Our take: The Taunt fix is huge – 1% instead of 10% meant it was almost useless. Now it’s back to being a meaningful defensive layer. Reduced Recovery of Leech no longer breaking flasks is also a major fix for many builds.

💬 BuyCarry Team’s Take

This patch is a cleanup patch – no new league mechanics, no meta‑shifting balance changes. But it fixes a surprising number of annoying bugs and makes several endgame fights much smoother.

What we love:

  • Infinite Hunger burrow time – This fight was a waiting simulator. Now it’s actually engaging.
  • Sirus wall removal – Outside the Eye, Sirus was a wall‑spamming menace. Much better now.
  • Taunt fix – 1% was a rounding error. 10% is back to being useful.
  • Reduced Recovery of Leech fix – This was quietly killing builds that relied on both leech and flask recovery. Glad it’s corrected.

What’s missing:

  • No new league content (expected – this is a patch, not an expansion)
  • No major balance changes for underperforming skills

For BuyCarry clients:

  • Mirage league – If you’ve been avoiding Haunted Mansion or Underground Sea maps, you can run them again without boss‑arena Mirage entrances.
  • Sirus farming – The Feared encounter and map Sirus variants are now less frustrating. If you need help with endgame bossing, our boosters are ready.
  • Infinite Hunger – Faster fight means faster farming. Want to optimize your boss rotations? We can help.

Final verdict: A solid quality‑of‑life patch. Not exciting, but necessary. The Taunt and Leech fixes alone will make many builds feel correct again.
