Rivals! Marvel Rivals’ May 7 patch adds Winter Soldier Starlit Gunslinger and Venom War of the Realms bundles, fixes Black Cat RNG, landing bugs, and Blood Hunt matchmaking. No server downtime – just patch and play. Plus: Blade’s ear‑shattering sound bug is finally fixed.

 

Marvel Rivals is rolling out a new patch on May 7, 2026, at 09:00 UTC with no server downtime – just update and play. This update focuses on store additions, hero bug fixes, map corrections, and improvements to the Blood Hunt PvE mode.

🛠️ Hero Fixes – Black Cat, Landing Animations & Klyntar

Black Cat – Fortune not accumulating in spawnUsing Tablet of Destinies inside spawn now properly builds her Fortune RNG. “She can now gamba wherever she wants.”
Slow fall heroes – stuck landing animationHeroes struck by a knockdown ability while slow falling will no longer remain permanently crouched. Landings are still hard on the knees, but you can move again.
Black Cat – stuck on Klyntar after portalRare bug fixed where Ring of Zona could trap her on Klyntar: Symbiotic Surface map. Symbiotes were getting too attached – now she’s free.

Our take: Black Cat players will appreciate the consistency. The slow fall landing bug was annoying but rare. The Klyntar fix is niche but welcome for portal spamming Black Cats.
